WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE?
1. Learning Design, Delivery, Engagement and Analytics
Work closely with subject-matter-experts to determine performance gaps, identify root causes and recommend possible solutions (learning, process, etc.)
Designs and produces engaging learning experiences and interventions that leverage technology and various delivery platforms (face to face classroom training, interactive eLearning, videos, virtual classroom design, digital publications, podcasts, social learning etc.) using best practices and AGILE methodologies, based on agreed SLAs.
Ensures that designed learning experiences interventions are aligned to learning objectives, content, activities, and evaluation techniques
Storyboard and prototype technology-enabled learning solutions/interventions and test with subject-matter-experts and future learners.
Work closely with subject-matter-experts to gather, analyze, organize, and write content needed for eLearning course development, using the Learning Design Tools and Templates.
Create effective and fair assessment methods that foster the learners' development by providing opportunities to demonstrate their mastery of the learning goals
Create storyboards and wireframes using the rapid prototyping methodology.
2. Performance Consulting
Consult and recommend performance interventions based on needs analysis
Design performance structures in the learner's workplace to ensure learning is transferred on the job
3. Learning Technologies and Multiplatform Development Knowledge
Leverage tools, frameworks and repeatable processes for designing and developing technology-enabled learning solutions/interventions.
Engage in writing, user interface design, user experience design, graphic design, image editing, document formatting, learning repository (Sharepoint) development and social platform management (e.g. MS Teams communities, etc.)
Ensure that the published technology-enabled learning solutions are accurate, complete, and ready for deployment
Continually evaluate technology-enabled solutions for quality, scalability and optimization via QA and Peer Review activities.
Leverage technology to improve learner access to materials and provide just in time learning.
4. Supervisory and Coaching Role
Manages the projects from analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation.
Serve as mentors and coaches on Instructional Design and Delivery best practices
Enable DTO subject-matter-experts to apply instructional design best practices and technologies in their programs and learning journeys.
5. Research & Benchmarking
Maintain knowledge of new learning approaches, technology, and measurement tools through continuous research to ensure our solutions deliver innovation.
Participate in DTO initiatives to share best practices and identify emerging learning needs.
Research content and/or collaborate with subject-matter-experts to develop, sequence and content.
6. Accomplish all abovementioned tasks and deliverables in accordance with standard process flows discussed and agreed upon timelines for each learning and performance intervention.
7. Facilitate DTO activities/workshops as required.
