Job Summary: As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Investment Bank, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role. Job responsibilities: Provide technical guidance to support business and technical teams. Engage in the development of high-quality codes while conducting thorough code reviews. Influence pivotal decisions regarding product design. Lead the creation of technical designs within distributed technology teams. Contribute to the construction of an authentication middleware platform. Utilize Java, Spring, and cutting-edge cloud technologies for web development. Document requirements proficiently using a variety of technical tools. Required qualifications, skills and capabilities: Formal certification in Java Spring/Spring Boot coupled with a minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience. Demonstrate expertise in Microservices Application development leveraging Java Spring/Spring Boot. Exhibit proficiency in database management, particularly with Oracle. Familiarity with Apache Kafka or MQ and other integration platforms. Hands-on involvement in system design, development, testing, and ensuring operational stability. Showcase advanced knowledge across various technical domains. Proven ability to autonomously resolve complex issues. Preferably, possess experience in cloud native environments. Hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field. Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities: Proficiency in testing frameworks such us Junit/Mockito, and test principles such as TDD and BDD. Deep understanding of object-oriented design patterns and industry best practices. Familiarity with open-source frameworks. Advanced skills in automation and continuous delivery methods.
