Your Role and Responsibilities
Independently responsible for payroll calculation by performing SAP HRMS job tasks for Japan's main cycle, NPB payment, Bonus payment and Full Final Settlement, resident tax, income tax payment and filling.
Validate payroll calculation result Independently to ensure 100% accuracy what need align with local legal requirements and company internal HR policies.
Independently calculate and complete income tax payment, adjustment, and filling of Japan for monthly and annual requirements with 100% accuracy and timeliness.
Handle payment release via bank & posting to Accounting team.
Track overpayment and chasing employees for OVP collection.
Independently responsible for employees inquiry on Payroll and income tax items and deliver satisfied HR services to internal customers.
Deliver Payroll services and operation with high quality, in terms of Payroll activities such as data gathering, analysis, report preparation, tax declaration, Statutory Reporting, Resident Tax, Income Tax, Year End Adjustment (YEA), etc.
Proactive drive the automation projects and operation improvement in daily operation, proactive support and implement the system integration, project enablement, process enhancement.
Fully involve complex cross-function Compensation, Benefit, Talent Acquisition, offboarding, HR Partner and HR projects.
Other assigned task.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Fluent Japanese (primary) & Chinese (secondary, Intermediate or above) skills both in written and oral and listening. Business language is English in Kyndryl.
Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, esp. Excel. Advanced SAP experience is a plus.
Expertise in Japan Taxation, Japan local labor law related regulation of payroll and HR.
Good knowledge of Payroll / HR process, and application.
Excellent time management to meet legal requirements on the payment.
Work positively and constructively within the pressurized environment to meet multiple tight deadlines.
Sensitive to data, patience, and detail oriented is a must.
Excellent collaboration and dedication, in term of timing management and providing qualified result to peers during peak days to meet team deadlines.
8+ years working experience, including 4+ years above experience in payroll function.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
As indicated above.
