About the job Lead Frontend Software Engineer
The Lead Frontend Software Engineer will be responsible for implementing visual web components and providing technical leadership to other Frontend Software Engineers.
The LFSE will be working closely with the Project Manager and other Software Engineers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation in developing high-quality products and applications.
Essential Functions
Work with the Backend Software Engineers to translate visual mockups into working applications
Create user-friendly and responsive web pages
Write reusable codes and libraries
Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
Participate in the design of software solutions
Create and maintain technical documentation
Provide application-level production support
Join calls with customers and partners as needed
Support the Engineering team in establishing best practices and coding guidelines
Assist the Engineering Manager in managing and mentoring other engineers
Improve code quality by participating in peer code reviews
Research and development of new technologies to advance and better the quality of product and other deliverables
Adhere to Company processes and procedures to enable smooth flow of product development lifecycle and operations management
Provide feedback to the company whenever necessary
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
5+ years of experience in web applications development
Strong understanding of software development practices and concepts

- Algorithms
- Data Security
In-depth knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with Frontend frameworks such as React and Angular
Understanding of REST and SOAP
Experience with code versioning tools, preferably Git
Experience with unit test methodologies
Experience with creating mockups and designing prototypes
Familiarity with Agile practices
Good communication skills
Ability to work in multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Open to learning new technologies
Nice to have
Experience with Docker
Experience with CI/CD
