Duties and Responsibilities
Leading a team of cost management, providing guidance and support.
Conducting thorough cost analyses to identify areas of improvement and cost saving opportunities.
Analyzing variances between actual costs and budgeted costs and providing explanations for discrepancies.
Generating regular reports on cost performance for management review and decision-making.
Comply with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) requirements.
Monitoring actual performance against budgeted targets and adjusting forecasts as necessary.
Implementing cost control measures to ensure expenses are within budgetary constraints.
Identifying cost drivers and implementing strategies to mitigate cost increases.
Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.
Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.
Assist in audits and general ledger preparation.
Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.
Conducting ad hoc analysis as requested by management to support decision making.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
With at least two years of work-related experience.
Cost Estimation.
Cost Allocation.
Inventory Valuation.
Competence in conducting variance analysis to compare actual costs against budgeted or standard costs.
Strong data skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and any ERP system.
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
