We're looking for an experienced, Lead Cloud Engineer to join our Manila-based team, and working across our APAC business. As the Senior Engineer, you'll have experience mentoring and guiding your colleagues.
Utilizing your previous Devops experience, make your mark in an existing high caliber cloud services environment and work on prototyping new solutions for future use.
You’ll work with the wider tech teams in Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia to implement solutions that leverage a wide range of bleeding-edge technologies on offer from AWS.
Some of the things you can be expecting to work with include ECS, EKS, ELK, Lambda, Elastic Seach, Dynamo DB, Kinesis, Kibana, and the list goes on.
You’ll build and maintain best-practice processes and infrastructure by continuously reviewing processes, recommending and implementing improvements to ensure best practice. You’ll focus on automation and be passionate about continuous improvement.
Project delivery is a key component of this role, you’ll own and deliver DevOps and Infrastructure projects which drive change and value to the business.
The successful candidate will have experience in Security and Risk Management, be proactive in improving company security, identifying and managing risk, and ensuring accounts, keys, networks, etc are all properly secured.
The role will manage BAU & provide production support (Incident Management).
Requirements:
Degree holder in Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic and Communication Engineer or any related courses.
Have a min of 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
Professional Experience in Data streaming technologies (Apache Storm, Apache Spark, Apache Zookeeper) and Terraforms, Puppet.
Professional experience of core AWS Cloud Services (EC2, EBS, VPC, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, AWS Security products: IAM, key management, ECS, EKS), Linux, Containerization technologies (Docker & Kubernetes), Scripting Skills CloudFormation, Bash, one mainstream programming language), and Windows Server.
Experienced with configuration, automation, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket Pipelines, Ansible), cloud monitoring tools, Syslog management (ELK), agile practices (Kanban, Scrum).
