Job Description
The individual will also perform duties related to various U.S. State unemployment compensation (UC) reporting requirements, wage audits, and other UC requirements. The individual will coordinate with other members of the team in responding to various State UC offices on layoff cases, federal benefits, and other State reporting requirements. This person will collaborate within the team and cross-functionally within GM, as required.
The day-to-day function of the selected candidate will encompass troubleshooting and assisting in resolving issues related to SUB and State UC, in addition to the following:
Perform daily operations for GM's SUB Plan, for example, verifying employee status, reviewing eligibility for SUB, processing SUB payment requests including processing rejected SUB applications, process SUB overpayments.
Perform all required system inputs in CISA (Consolidated Income Security Application), including but not limited to, as follows:
Enter UC charges,
Complete audit charges, monetary and non-monetary determination messages within CISA,
Entering and reviewing case history for documentation, and
Reviewing CISA reports to respond to unemployment earnings requests, SUB issues, charge audits, and disability/worker's compensation investigations.
Assist in gathering information in preparation for State UC hearings.
Complete separation information in SIDES e-Response for certain UC States, and coordinate with other team members in resolving cases.

Qualifications:
Previous experience working for a U.S. company, and/or previous experience working in U.S. State unemployment or other similar regulatory work experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems. e.g., Work Day
Ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment
Proficient in English (written / verbal) and possesses good communication skills
