Job Summary:
Laboratory Refilling Operations Officer must coordinate and report to the Vice President (IB) of MDX Netherlands Diagnostics Inc as well as work under the guidance and supervision of the QAD - Manager, to carry out the duties responsibly related to the refilling Process such as the following:
Preparation and sanitizing of reagent bottles and dried completely.
Refilling and labelling of specified reagents bottles.
Calibrating and operating the peristaltic pump with proper precaution.
Sampling preparation of finished products for internal validation at the Quality Assurance Department.
Once validated and passed, pack the required bottles into the cartons and stored them at appropriate temperature as specified.
Pack the unused reagents properly and store them as per specifications.
Coordinate with the purchase team and manage the inventory of consumables like boxes, labels, and bottles.
Operates and programs Bio-Chemistry Analysers.
Operates Semi and Fully Automatic Biochemistry analysers.
Handle and manage documentation for ISO and other purposes.
Maintain all records for the refilling operations.
Maintain cleanliness and observe universal precaution and safety inside the laboratory.
Submits inventory reports and other updates relative to the outputs of the refilling station to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Perform other related responsibilities assigned if time permits.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge
Clinical Biochemistry and Its Operation
Knowledge and experience of Good Laboratory Practice
Safety and lab procedures
Skills
Operating and Programming of Biochemistry test on an Analyzer,
Performing Quality Control,
Knowledge to Operate a refilling Pump will be an added advantage.
Tools
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Characteristics
Good command of English and Filipino (spoken and written)
Eager to learn and gain knowledge.
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology.
Experience: Minimum experience of 2 years working in a Laboratory as a Medical Technologist or as a Lab assistant in a research lab working on Chemicals.
Certifications and Licenses: Registered Medical Technologist will be an advantage.
Work Set-up: Work in office in the refilling area.
