MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist end-users from the initial request through to resolution
Assist other team members in trouble shooting problems
Instinctive ability to quickly identify and diagnose IT issues and problems and resolve these logically in a short timeframe
Capturing and updating all Helpdesk requests
Conduct Project work as required
Ensure Accurate record keeping
Be available for On Call support as per the Client roster.
Complete training courses as required by Client
Other duties as required.
Requirements
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Valued Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified Professional - Microsoft 365, Teams, and Azure
Cisco CCT Routing & Switching / CCNA
Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist
Sophos XG Engineer / Architect
3-5 years previous experience providing IT technical support - MSP preferred
Strong knowledge of PC hardware and related peripherals
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/10/11
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP
Knowledge in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 including desktop and web applications
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure including AD, VM and Networking
Knowledge of domain name registration, DNS management, and web hosting
Understanding of OSI model layers and protocols
Experience: Skills:
Experience upgrading hardware and installing operating systems
Experience in troubleshooting broadband and cellular services
ü Experience with configuration of network devices from vendors Cisco and Ubiquiti ü Experience with Apple and Android operating systems and settings ü Experience with: · Remote Desktop Services · Microsoft Hyper-V · Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online · Microsoft Azure · Microsoft 365 ü Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery software ü Experience using RMM tools such as ConnectWise Automate ü Experience using PSA tools such as ConnectWise Manage ü Industry recognised certifications such as: · Microsoft MCP · Cisco
