Primary Function
The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for the development of Elanco's presence in each of the key accounts under him/her. He/ She implements duly approved specialized sales and marketing programs which are linked to the overall objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales: ensures timely and effective implementation of sales and marketing programs in order to achieve desired sales objectives and market share.
Collection: sees to it that credit terms and limits are followed so that DSO target is achieved.
Market Intelligence: regularly updates individual key account Elanco SFE Template, provides synergy update, and monitors competitor's activities and industry updates. Focuses on customer needs in identifying market gaps and business opportunities to launch/deliver products in a manner that enhances the image of Elanco as an organization.
Demand Creation: conducts RTDs, Key Influencer Services (KIS), Product Presentations, Customized Technical and other related seminars, Sports Tournaments and other services and activities that will encourage product demand and patronage.
Networking: develops and maintains professional relationship with the Decision-makers and key influencers of the key accounts (top to bottom approach) in order to tap and grow the company's business relationship with each one of them.
Communication: regularly updates the Head of Key Accounts Team, Marketing Team and Technical Team on status of field activities and sales and collection performance.
Reports: submits complete reports to the Head of Key Accounts such as Sniping Plan, Collection update, synergy update and other relevant reports at the 2nd working day of the month.
Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify customer support and technology problems and resolve them.
Conduct user workshops and other forms of requirements gathering, in addition to training workshops.
Write training materials and troubleshooting documentation.
Participate in user testing and upgrade process, and ensure that business objectives are met.
Establishing workflows and standards or entering data in the CRM
Spotting ways to improve usage of the CRM through automating basic everyday tasks
Customizing and pulling marketing reports from the CRM
Analyzing the marketing reports to determine what kind of customer trends the business should respond to.
Writing training manuals and teaching staff on how to use the CRM
Troubleshooting user or software errors that inhibit the efficiency of the interaction between people and technology
Meeting with teams to help them analyze business trends
Requirements:
Education and Training: Graduate of any four-year course preferably business. Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science or any related course is an advantage
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years sales experience with proven track record
Computer literate (Windows based Application, financial software)
Good oral and written communication and presentation skills
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Good analytical, organizational and planning skills
Basic mathematical operations and marketing knowledge and creativity skills
