JOB OVERVIEW
Tax and Business Service Accountant is responsible for helping individuals and organizations file their taxes appropriately while following legal guidelines and obtaining the maximum possible tax return. Their duties include collecting tax forms and tracking client paperwork, identifying potential tax credits and producing tax reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
2-3 years recent, relevant experience in Public Practice and ambition for your career development is preferred
Minimum 1 year experience in Australian Taxation
Studying towards CA or CPA qualifications
Knowledge of Sage software products is an advantage but not necessary
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Exposed to many different areas of compliance and advisory work
With your team you will be responsible for assisting in preparation of financial statements, preparation of tax returns (individual, partnership, company, trusts), FBT returns, preparation of Business Activity Statements, tax planning and dealing directly with the likes of the ATO/ state revenue offices/ASIC
Doing trial balances, preparing IAS and BAS
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
13th month salary
