We are currently hiring a Web Quality Assurance to play an instrumental role in maintaining the quality of our site. You will be responsible for identifying bugs in our code, as well as usability issues associated with the design of the product itself. To find both types of issues, you need a decent head for maths and logic, and a keen eye for design and UX. Your writing skills will allow you to review the copy on the site, and your inquisitive mind will help you develop a detailed understanding of how our marketplace operates. Specifically, you will be:
Testing web applications and mobile applications
Employing a variety of testing methodologies such as Manual, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, non-functional testing etc.
Performing multi-platform, cross browser testing, and UI/UX Testing
Preparing test plans and execute test cases
Verifying user-reported defects and triaging them
Creating and maintaining automated test scripts
Peer-reviewing test cases and automated test scripts
Creating detailed bug and test reports
Quality coach skills: You will be mentoring/coaching your team in quality best practices, assisting the team in setting up the quality culture, shift-left testing, quality mindset and quality process
Taking part in team's entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Actively participating in Agile/Scrum team activities
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to think outside of the box and find creative ways to break things / solve problems
Capable of preparing test plans and executing test cases
Skilled in testing websites, web applications and/or mobile applications
