We welcome applications from students and aspiring technologists with a variety of degree backgrounds who can demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for software engineering and interest in learning new skills. If you're graduating in the next 6 months or completed your studies within the last 12 months (that's 12 months from your last subject or unit), proficiency or experience is not required.
As a JAVA software engineer, you could be:
applying your engineering skills to build platforms and applications, supporting more than one million retail banking customers and leading the way in digital banking
involved in projects within the organisation that transform the way we work
working on a variety of projects across trading platforms, including changes to support new business capability, enhancements, and system maintenance
learning Agile scrum delivery methodology, customer-centric design, design thinking techniques, full-stack software development delivery, problem solving, analytical thinking, scaled agile experience, DevOps, stakeholder management or solution design
enhancing your knowledge and understanding of financial markets and products.
