MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
The primary responsibility of the Junior Front-End Developer is the translation of the UX/UI design wireframes to technical implementations that will produce the visual elements of an application. The Front-End Developer will also assume responsibility for writing the front-end logic and UI validation of an application.
TASKS:
Develop, test, build and coordinate the creation, conversion and/or integration of a new user interface on Sprout's product based on requirements.
Resolve Front-End/User Interface issues or problems of the software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Provide support and/or investigate issues in the software
Participate in daily scrum meetings and other Sprint Activities/Meetings
Ensures all engineered designs are responsive.
Perform other duties as assigned by the company
QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES:
Knowledgeable in standards compliant, accessible, and SEO friendly HTML
Familiarity with layout techniques such as flexbox, grid and floats.
Broad knowledge of CSS including selectors, specificity, and the cascade.
Experience with JavaScript and Familiarity with TypeScript including ES2015+ and ES modules.
Basic Knowledge with Frontend Frameworks (React, Vue).
Basic understanding and usage of Version Control systems such as Git or TFVC preferably in Azure Repos.
Agile / Scrum development process knowledge is a plus.
