The Junior Finance/Accounting Analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will process and reconcile finance related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The candidate will provide support and be part of the US Finance team.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Create monthly journal entries
Perform tie-outs of financial statements to general ledger and tie-outs for internal consistency
Assist with statutory financial statement preparation process (e.g., import mapping files into software)
Assist with various projects on an as needed basis
Meet various deliverables in support of monthly and quarterly financial close
Collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams to meet departmental goals
Obtain commission stmts from carrie's websites or email
Convert the commission stmts from pdf to Excel
Create commission journal entry in NetSuite
Save support in Sharepoint
When cash received, entere receipt JE in NetSuite
Follow up with Accountants and underwriters regarding status of open balances
Create commission reconciliation file: emphasis on Reconciliation of policy data to agent's data
Update reporting file with Written Premium and Policies in Force data for current month
Perform cash recon for all JV subs for bank accounts
Record journals for Balance Sheet GL accounts
Perform all balance sheet account reconciliations
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Work Hours: Night shift (9PM-6AM) Mon-Fri
Work Location: Quezon City, Eton Centris Building (We are currently working from home until further notice).
