We're looking for Junior Accountant to bring your talent to Noventiq Philippines. You'll be a part of our Finance Department.
Job Overview: We are looking for an ambitious Junior Receivable Accountant to provide support to the financial department by supporting daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company's finances.
Preparing invoice drafts and AR supporting document are a large part of this position's day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.
The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long-term success.
What you'll do:
Review and issue invoices to customers;
Post invoices and ensure all sales transaction are recorded into accounting system.
Update accounts receivable, update invoices and incoming payments into collection app, perform AR reconciliations.
Send email to customer for reminder of payment due and collection; directly communicate with customers to ensure the timely collection.
Assist in AR document preparation.
Assist in preparing upload file for posting rebates;
Assist with other accounting projects.
About you:
Excellent organizing abilities
Great attention to detail
Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. Netsuite, 1C)
Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required
BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field
Ability to understand and communicate in English is a MUST
