The Opportunity
We are seeking a Junior Accountant with a passion to learn and grow, to join our Manila team. You will work alongside a supportive team where you will have an abundance of exposure across financial and management accounting within a global organisation. This is a true development role with an array of career pathways to choose from!
This is a base level accounting role where you will support the finance team by completing transactional processing and reconciliation tasks for the Financial Accounting team and be invaluable in supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis team in terms of internal reporting and information provision to the business.
The role
In this role, duties include:
Sales Reporting
Sales analytics
GL journal preparation
GL Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Rebate accrual and customer account reconciliation
Ad hoc Financial Accounting and Management Accounting requests as they arise
Essential requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or in your final year and studying part-time)
CA/CPA preferred
2 - 3 years' experience working in accounting.
Good Excel skills
Demonstrated ability to interact and build relationships across the business.
Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal) essential.
You will be ethical and have a high learning ability.
