Primary responsibilities:
Perform accounting processes for the business, including day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close processes, payroll, bank reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements
Apply accounting principles and standards, taxation and relevant laws sufficiently to perform the job
Other Accounting duties/tasks/projects assigned as needed
Problem-solving and contributing to the success of the team.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related field of study.
Fluent in English
Experience of at least 1-2 years of experience in accounting
Working knowledge on computers
Good customer service, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Preferably with an in-depth knowledge and direct experience working with Quickbooks and/or Xero, and other accounting systems such as NetSuite, and Sage Intacct.
Proficiency in the use of Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and Microsoft Excel.
Willingness to learn, openness to new ideas, as well as ability to innovate new processes are all pluses.
Willing to work in a shifting schedule
Willing to work for 6 days
