CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and design highly scalable system architecture and ensuring responsiveness of applications.
Build web-based systems as well as apps for iOS, Android and HTML5 from code to production.
Identifies, fix and rectify bottlenecks and bugs.
Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable codes.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Ability to display a 'can-do' attitude in managing projects and tasks.
Capable and skilled in time-management, and able to work under stress and tight deadlines.
Capable of providing solutions that adds value and enhancements
Ability to display a 'do more with less' attitude.
Advocates design principles, object oriented design patterns, and best practices.
Research and implement new technologies and integrations
QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum requirements in terms of experience and background, skills and competencies for sourcing purposes)
Knowledge and Experience
5 years' + experience in a commercial environment doing Serverless or Back-end software development
Degree in Computing or a related Technical field
Great written and verbal communication in English.
Experience as a Serverless Developer and UI/UX designer a huge plus.
Skills and Abilities:
Experience/Education to demonstrate a track record in building web platforms including experience in DevOps, software architecture, JavaScript/Typescript code proficiently
Knowledge and experience with AWS Services, Serverless, NoSQL, NodeJS, Typescript, Angular, Ionic, Cordova
Knowledge of SEO, CSS, CSS extension languages (Sass), and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap is a huge plus.
