What you will do
We are currently seeking an experienced Jira/JSM Application Administrator to join our global Market Technology Service Desk (MTSD) team. The MTSD is responsible for providing client service and support to all Market Technology SaaS customers covering a wide range of products, such as trading/matching engine, pre/post-trading risk, financial crimes detection, financial analytic, and risk management on a 24x7 basis.
The Jira Service Management (Jira/JSM) on-premises setup is a key part of our toolset for customer support and is critical to our daily operation. Note that we are not looking for a Jira system admin as there's a dedicated tech team that provides support on hardware and infrastructure, working with the tech team. Your main focus will be on Jira configuration, enhancement (e.g. automation/workflow improvements), and maintenance of the platform. To succeed in this role, you should have strong skills and knowledge in Jira configuration, Jira integration with other systems (e.g. REST API, webhooks), and at least basic scripting skill.
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Flexibility will be provided on the general schedule, but you will need to be able to work with global teams including possible nighttime or weekend when required
What We Expect
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Past experience in the Jira/JSM administration, configuration and support is a must
Deep understanding of Jira/JSM architecture including JQL, Json, etc
Experience and/or strong knowledge with REST API and Jira/JSM integration with other applications
Experience with ScriptRunner and skill in scripting with Groovy/Java
Experience with Automation for Jira and other major add on is a plus
Prior experience in Helpdesk Support or equivalent is an advantage
Amenability to shifting schedules as the team operates on a 24/7 basis
