Provide day to day support to business users in use of the existing in-house software applications;
Develop and support ongoing user and customer enhancements to the primary software application, PCS;
Ensure appropriate risk management solutions are applied to the existing software applications and servers;
Work with existing business users to document the business functionality, and recommend alternative solutions to this existing software applications;
Prepare and recommend a roadmap to develop alternative solutions to some existing software applications, documenting solutions and decisions taken;
Develop and implement the preferred solution to replace business functionality in PCS, giving consideration to full system testing and documentation;
Provide full user support to the developed solutions;
Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems;
Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data;
Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures;
Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT software development and administration;
Working with integrations of Netsuite and coordinating between Netsuite support and team;
Administration:
Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software;
Continuous improvement to the company IT security;
Creating user accounts, performing access control and support;
Managing all Software, administration functions and user needs;
Providing IT software support for local and global team members;
Position requirements:
At least five years' experience in a similar role;
Extensive experience with the development of software applications, IT systems, networks, and related technologies
Specific experience in Java, OOP (Object Oriented Programming), Netbeans, Luna Eclipse, SQL Database development, and Virtual machines;
Solid knowledge of best practices in IT software development, administration and system security;
Preferred: Experience with Netsuite ERP;
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar;
