About the Java Engineer Role:
As a Java Engineer, you will collaborate on coding, architecture, continuous improvement, structured problem solving, agile way of working and/or any other way that adds value. You will participate in DevOps rituals when needed (e.g. daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives and peer reviews). You will share and try new practices and technologies with your chapter members that have the similar interests and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating, developing and supporting advanced business applications for the Wholesale lending line of business
Searching and proposing solutions using the newest technologies
To succeed in this Java Engineer role, you should have advanced knowledge of Java 8. Knowledge in Java 11 and beyond is preferred.
Key Requirements:
Experience using various spring modules like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch
Experience in creating web applications, SOAP/RESTful APIS
Knowledge of Hibernate Framework
Very good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
Good skills in writing Unit and Integration Tests using Junit
Good knowledge of relational databases, e.g. Oracle
