As a Backend Engineer, you will deliver robust server-side programs as directed by business and technical requirements. You will also be working on integrating various systems and be capable of providing production support as needed.
Implementing reliable systems through creation and analysis of code
Balancing quality and simplicity while accelerating delivery
Troubleshooting issues
Following and capable of improving existing practice
Mentoring and promoting strong engineering culture
Develop components within a microservice architecture.
Develop using Java, and other programming languages.
Work on systems using the following:
Git
Build tools such Maven, Gradle
Quality automation tools such as Sonar
Work on systems built-on-top/integrating to following platforms:
RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle
VPC or Cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, GCP
Understand security concepts such as:
TLS/SSL
Cryptography
JWT/SAML
API security
design solutions based on provided architectural and business requirements
work on Linux or Windows-based OS
