Job Description
Your Team
You'll be joining the team that will be upgrading our current Case Management Platform (EdorasWare) to a newer platform (Flowable) to support the efficient execution of our corporate processes. As a Java Developer, you're part of an international team, taking ownership and full responsibility for the design and implementation of our Case Management platform and its related applications.
Your Mission
Setup, maintain, and enhance the platform for use within the Avaloq system (managing different environments, setting up third-party integrations, release management, etc)
Design, build, maintain, and document new and migrated applications in our Flowable platform
Explore, propose, and implement enhancements to further improve the out-of-the-box features of the Flowable platform
Identify bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Provide support, including analysis and fixes for all released applications
Implement automated test platforms and unit tests
Qualifications
What you need
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline
3-5 years working experience with Java web app development, with good knowledge on its related ecosystems (web frameworks, testing frameworks, etc)
Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and principles
Structured and autonomous approach to work
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
A positive "can do" enthusiastic attitude, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
You will get extra points for the following
Workflow management tool Flowable
Knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) or Case Management Model and Notation (CMMN)
