The UAM and CM Junior Specialist is to act as main contact for the ELEXON Services team with respect to Change management, Quality and PMO matters on the ELEXON accounts and its projects.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Collaboration with the onshore counterparts in completing Impact Assessments and Price Presentations of software changes/releases/solutions which the resource will then issue to the external customer.
Change administration by doing Change Request processing, Change reporting, Remedy CR ticket updates, logs/trackers/database maintenance, and other ad hoc reports/tasks.
PMO activities not limited to on/off onboarding, user access management, create/maintain org chart using MS Visio.
Creation of monthly required reports and distribution as requested. Internal reporting is also required to ensure the highest level of data integrity is upheld.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
IT/Computer Science graduate
Knowledge in the IT Change Management process is an advantage
Preferably has knowledge in Impact Assessments of software changes/releases
Preferably has knowledge in Pricing Presentations of software changes/releases
Basic financial background is an advantage
Understanding of UK energy trading and settlement principles is an advantage
Strong sense of ownership and commitment skills. Commitment to stay with the project for at least two years.
Willing to stay late in some days during deliveries to ensure meeting the SLA/OLAs (mid-shift towards graveyard)
Strong organizational skills and has utmost attention to details
Customer/Client-oriented to ensure that good collaboration with onshore counterparts and external customers satisfy their need
Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills with superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage time efficiently
Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a strong desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success
