CGI is looking for a Business Intelligence Consultant to become a key member of our Microsoft Solutions practice to:
Develop, support, and maintain ETL solutions, reports, and other BI applications of CGI's customer base.
The member will work with our clients to understand their business needs and help deliver value through technology using a range of BI tools.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Follow best practices in the delivery of all application activities such as responding to incidents, change requests, and environmental changes.
Ensure that the application is always available to users and render production support when required.
Work closely with application owners in gathering requirements and delivering results.
Provide accurate estimates, test, and deploy solutions in all environments.
Develop and maintain system documentation.
Comfortable in communicating with onshore clients to gather requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
2-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence development
SSAS - multi-dimensional and tabular cube
SSRS
SSIS
At least 1 year in Power BI development
Knowledge and experience with developing ETL model for data warehousing
Good knowledge of MS SQL.
Knowledge of QlikView and QlikSence.
Good in analyzing and data tracing.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work with functional teams with both onshore and offshore resources.
Ability to demonstrate a clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilities.
Good client-facing skills e.g. verbal, client demonstrations, delivering training within an organization.
Expected to be flexible with time and capable of working in a process-oriented environment.
