We are looking for a Technical Architect to design the structure of CGI's GHRMS manual processes and oversee programs to ensure the proper architecture is implemented.
In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to translate complex requirements into functional and technical architecture. We'd also like you to have hands-on technical experience on any software development technology and be able to manage complex programs.
Your goal will be to ensure that the designed automated processes operates properly.
Responsibilities
Understand the GHRMS process needs to define system specifications
Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
Communicate system requirements to software development and test teams
Evaluate and select the right approach given the limitations
Re-use designs done for completed use cases taken from a design catalog
Oversee assigned use cases and provide guidance to all teams (Business Analyst, UI/UX design, .NET development and Test teams
Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
Requirements
4-5 years of Technical Architect role with a total development experience of 8-10 yrs.
Proven experience in creation of Technical Design Documents (Functional and Detailed Design)
Hands-on experience with software development and system administration
Preferred experience in Database Design and Management
Understanding of strategic IT solutions
Experience in project management
Knowledgeable on waterfall, hybrid-agile, agile frameworks
Excellent communication skills
Problem-solving aptitude
Organizational and leadership skills
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Full-stack, .Net development, People Management skills
