Your future duties and responsibilities:
Perform daily journal creation, reconciliation, and adjustments
Complete the monthly Goods and Services Tax report
Execute reconciliation of bank statements, balance sheet, and trial balance
Assist on WIP-related concerns and inquiries
Act as backup with working knowledge on General Ledger support
Directly communicate operational updates to the onshore counterpart with context
Proactively identify and investigate issues and provide productive solutions
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
BS Accountancy or Finance degree-holder
Proficient knowledge on Microsoft Excel
Proficient communication skills, demonstrates good organizational skills, keen analytical ability, and attention to detail
Quantitative proficiency on manual calculations
Must have the ability to solve problems effectively and multitask
Strong customer service orientation
Action-oriented and has the ability to assume ownership of requests/problems and deliver effective resolutions
Creativity for devising effective customer solutions within pre-determined guidelines
Adaptability and capacity to handle changing priorities
