Job Description:
As a manager, responsible for supporting staff and systems providing highly available intranet/internet website to ensure performance, availability, stability and security of the systems. Will be required to perform web application (e.g., WebSphere, WebLogic, IIS, Apache, etc.) consulting, analysis, and design as well as deploying, configuring, securing, and tuning of web applications on multiple OSes including Windows and Unix (Linux/AIX); maintaining connectivity to SQL and Oracle databases; incident management & troubleshooting, service updates, security concerns and other projects or issues.
Adhere to change management process including preparation of and deployment of BEA Weblogic and Windows Applications
Perform technical project management including requirements definition and identifying, estimating and tracking of deliverables
Assist account management in ensuring business requirements, needs, and issues are regularly reviewed and satisfied
Regular review and implementation of rigor into the different security aspects of the web hosting services layer
Ensure proper incident management and troubleshooting (in the areas of environment, hardware, software, performance, etc.)
Conduct system capacity planning, maintenance, and analysis of server performance for budgeting and technical requirements
Oversees creation and maintenance of documentation in support of infrastructure and coordinating and scheduling system updates Directs the design, implementation and maintenance of IT systems and services
Ensure alignment of policies, standards, best practices, technologies, and governance with North American teams
Establishes and enforce IT policies, standards and procedures
Oversees and coordinate establishment of project plans, schedules and budget
Ensures adherence to corporate policies, standards and procedures
Manages the professional career of IT professionals
Staff performance planning, monitoring and evaluation
Establishes IT service level agreements with the business community
