Description
Responsibilities:
1. Assists in planning and then implements the telecommunications system and network infrastructure to achieve high-availability, optimized operations, maximum security, rapid disaster recovery, low operating costs;
2. Assists in the procurement, provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance and support of data & voice networks and office system interfaces with 3rd-party vendors;
3. Assists in planning activities to ensure that all computer equipment, telecoms and network are available according to the pre-agreed uptime schedules and metrics;
4. Performs preventive & corrective maintenance and technical support for network devices, computers, peripherals and other related equipment within pre-agreed service levels;
5. Implements policies, procedures and guidelines related to telecoms, networks and end-user computing security and operations during steady-state and disaster recovery;
6. Assists in ensuring that the IT infrastructure is secure and resilient by establishing and enforcing baseline standards and security controls that adhere to industry best-practices;
7. Ensures all workstation hardware & software, network and security tools and licenses are accounted for and with updated maintenance agreements or licenses;
8. Assists in achieving team's financial objectives by identifying cost reductions opportunities and implementing initiatives through the introduction of new hardware technologies & software tools, and process improvements;
9. Assists in analyzing and recommending an annual budget for the team and in scheduling & monitoring expenditures;
10. Perform other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or its equivalent
• Preferably with minimum 1 year in IT Technical Support, IT Infrastructure and Network Management and Operations.
