Job Description
Position Summary:
As an IT System Engineer of ZiqasTech you will be responsible for providing 1st level support on Infrastructure Services for the user community to your assigned client. You will be required to work closely with the client’s various IT groups and business partners to support, implement and maintain technical solutions.
 
Main Responsibilities but not limited to:
Provides 2nd level technical IT System and Server support by phone and remote assistance.
Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems and other Microsoft products.
Handle and track Incident, Requests, Tasks, Problem and Changes in ITSM ServiceNow.
Responsible for day-to-day user and computer administration of Microsoft 365 Azure cloud.
Support in the testing and installation of new applications and enhancement patches.
Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN environment.
Perform regular system reviews, work on pro-active performance tuning and resilience improvements.
Maintain IT-related documentation e.g. Work Instructions, SOP’s and SOM’s, Procedures Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support.

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
Microsoft Administrator
ITIL certified
3-5 years of related work experience
 
Desired Characteristics:
Capacity to adapt to a challenging and fast-moving environment, with changing priorities and a heavy workload.
Excellent problem-solving skills and service orientation.
Very strong communication skills and experience communicating to diverse internal and external stakeholders (fluent in English).
Amenable to work in shifting schedules. Minimum of 42 hours/week, 24/7 operation, and 3 shifts including weekends.
