We're looking for an IT Specialist to provide internal support for employees and contractors. Candidates should have a mix of technical and customer service skills, and be passionate about technology and helping people. We support Macs, PCs, Chromebooks, and CRM systems both locally and remotely.
Basic Function/Responsibilities:
● Handle Tier 1/2 help desk escalations through tickets
● Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
● Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
● Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
● Create accounts and configure hardware as part of onboarding process
● Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
● Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed
Required Experience:
● Windows 10, MacOS, ChromeOS, and GSuite
● Mac and PC hardware, computer peripherals, Mobile devices (iOS, Android)
● Experience supporting remote workers with the machine and access issues
● Worked with GSuite applications, ticketing systems, VoIP systems, and MDMs
● Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
● Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
● 2 years+ experience working in a Windows/Mac environment
Requirments:
○ Desktop or Laptop PC with Core i3 and above or equivalent processor, 8GB RAM, and OS Windows 8 and above or MAC OSX of equivalent
○ Hard wired DSL, Cable, or Fiber internet connection with at least 15 Mbps plan or higher for the primary connection (LTE, USB sticks, and pocket WiFi devices DO NOT qualify for a primary connection however you are expected to have any of these for backup connection purposes)
○ PC headset with extender microphone, Noise-canceling headset is preferred but is not required
○ High-definition external or integrated web camera (at least 720p resolution)
