Responsibilities:
Respond to and resolve escalated IT support tickets.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Assist with system installations, configurations, and updates.
Support users with software applications, including Microsoft 365, Windows/macOS, and enterprise applications.
Troubleshoot issues related to email systems, VPN, and remote access tools.
Provide support for printers, VoIP phones, and other peripherals.
Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Perform server administration tasks such as user management, permissions, and backup monitoring.
Support cloud-based services/platforms.
Ensure adherence to company IT security policies and procedures.
Assist in implementing security measures, such as endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and etc.
Identify and report potential cybersecurity threats or vulnerabilities.
Work closely with the team to resolve complex issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in a knowledge base.
Provide training and guidance to all support staff.
Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Assist with IT asset management, including tracking hardware and software inventory.
Support IT onboarding for new employees, ensuring proper access and equipment setup.
Collaborates with immediate superior about learning opportunities, career-pathing, and job growth for professional development.
To be assigned in Toledo, Cebu.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
1-2 years of experience in IT support.
Strong knowledge of operating systems, IT platforms and tools.
Knowledge of networking and other network protocols and configurations.
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including firewall configurations, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and security tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
No attendance and attitude issues.
