IT Quality Assurance (Sr Professional, IT Quality Assurance)
The role will have a focus on test execution and ownership of defects raised as a result of failed test cases for new or modified features of the various applications and systems in use by the company. Test cases will be of high complexity. Associates of this level are expected to be able to make judgment calls on requests for deferment of application features and/or resolution of defects. Associates are expected to be able to manage and resolve ambiguities and gray areas in requirements. Associates are also expected to be able to write and update test cases as applications are updated to support new or modified business requirements as well as detect and confirm the validity of any undocumented functionality changes.
Associates may be required to perform full effort estimation, and requirements traceability analysis. Associates may also be asked to peer-review the analyses done by their teammates. Mentoring of younger team members through work shadowing or through facilitation of formal classes may also be asked of associates at this level. Associates are also expected to be able to generate metrics pertaining to work done by the team as a whole.

The Ideal Candidate must have the following qualifications:
Graduate of any IT Related 4- or 5-year course. Post-graduate degree is a plus. At least 5-6 year experience as a generalist QA.
Exposure to end-to-end high complexity QA tasks. Experience in logistics or warehousing is a plus. Coaching experience is a plus.
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Experience in VSTS, MTM or HPQC is required.
Experience in .Net, SAP, or COBOL/CICS is a plus. Experience in SQL or Oracle is a plus.
Strong attention to detail is required.
Strong ability to spot and resolve gray areas, and edge and corner cases is required.
