IT QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST
 
Brief Description and Purpose of the Position
 
The QA Specialist is responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating software applications to ensure they meet the required functionality, reliability, performance, and security standards. They help prevent defects and ensure a smooth end-user experience.
 
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform manual and automated testing to validate system functionality and performance.
Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
Conduct regression testing and verify fixes for reported issues.
Provide detailed reports on testing progress, defects, and overall product quality.
Recommend process improvements to enhance software quality and testing efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and security protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, BSIT or any other computer-related course
Professional: At least 1 year experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related field
Preferably with IT Quality Assurance Training
Knowledge or experience in test cases.
Basic understanding of system QA processes and quality assurance principles.
Basic understanding in system installation, and proficiency in user account management
Good communication skills to address concerns and collaborate with Software Development Team.
Detail-oriented with strong clerical and organizational skills.
