Job Description
The IT Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing the organization's technology products, services, and vendors relationships. As an IT Procurement Officer, you are in charge, along with the Head of IT Procurement, of the whole IT supply chain, making sure that all operations are managed effectively and efficiently by managing costs and expenditures against budgets. This includes management of purchase orders, day to day liaising with suppliers, management of catalogues and handling all matters related to customs and duties.
In this role, you are required to work closely with various internal and external stakeholders all over the globe, like: IT Seniors. Service desk, finance, and a wide array of vendors.
You will also be in charge of managing contracts, like; software licenses, hardware maintenance, phone and data communication, data centers and cloud services. This includes the process of legal reviews and the vendor on-boarding process.
This position offers a loft of autonomy and a big room for creativity.
Being a proactive self-starter will be the essential traits that will allow you to ascend and become a procurement rock star.
Qualifications
Understanding of the IT procurement and service tools, methodologies and processes (Servicedesk Plus, ITSM systems
Good understanding of global IT products and services
At least 2 years of IT procurement/purchasing experience
Above Average English Communication skills
