JOB DESCRIPTION: The IT Shared Service Leader is accountable for providing leadership to the IT organization including core enterprise systems, network operations, architecture, technical customer support, information security and QRA. This role reports to the VP Multi-Function Management- Cardinal Health International, Philippines Lead.
IT Client Support
Function: Information Technology Function -- Information Technology is responsible for the effective development, delivery and operation of computing and information services. Anticipates, plans and delivers IT solutions and strategy which enable business value.
Family: IT Client Support -- IT Client Support is responsible for providing Tier 2+ support for software and hardware devices (virtual or physical) related to desktops, laptops, warehouse technologies, and associated peripherals.
​Demonstrates knowledge of client and warehouse hardware, software, operating systems, network configuration, server interaction, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Confers with end users, technology teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and fulfill requests. Ability to work independently or via a team collaboration process. Experience providing support via in-person, phone, or remote methods.
Installs/removes/configures hardware and software.
Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal skills to manage and deliver exceptional customer service. Partners with end users to correlate business requirements to technology solutions (strong business acumen).
Prioritizes effectively and escalates as needed.
Responds to customer needs and services as assigned.
Tactical/operational management role
Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, frontline supervisors and/or business support staff
Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
Ensures employees operate within guidelines
Decisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers
Interacts with subordinates, peer customers and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management
Interactions normally involves resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects
Gains consensus from various parties involved
Accountabilities
Acts as overall IT leader for Cardinal Health Manila-based operations and is part of the global IT Shared Services International team.
Partners with Manila site leadership to align IT capabilities and support enabling critical business operations.
Partners with global IT team to ensure Manila site is built out with appropriate IT capabilities to enable the successful onboarding of business process resources according to overall schedule and budget.
Enables the successful onboarding of additional resources in Manila operations ensuring all technology needs are met.
Provides ongoing local IT support to Manila operations and partners with broader Cardinal Health IT organization to deliver services to Manila site.
Develops Manila-based global IT service delivery strategy in coordination with global Cardinal Health IT team.
At the appropriate time, is prepared to expand scope of role to deliver global IT services to Cardinal Health.
Is an advocate for and sponsor of Manila-based IT services.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an IT focus. MBA or graduate degree in related discipline with a Business focus preferred.
15+ years in Sr. IT role with 5+ leading Information Technology teams for (global preferred) company
Applicable technical certifications
Must have proven experience with quality assurance processes and managing to a detailed project plan and budget.
Demonstrated experience working in a highly matrixed organization and partnering to achieve exceptional business outcomes
Ability to lead onsite and remote teams
Prior management experience
Experience working in a large multi-national company preferred
