First point of contact for the IT Department for all support calls and requests
PC OS, Desktop software, laptops, printers, UPS, handheld devices, phones, CCTVs and other business end-user related equipment /hardware & software-related installation
Maintains workstations and peripherals through upgrades, new installations and preventive tasks
troubleshoots end-user desktop and hardware issues
Liaises with local network vendor/ISP for troubleshooting local network problem
Provides technical support to queries professionally and efficiently by means of tech advise and training, as necessary
Provides emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule, as necessary
Monitors network traffic and help scale network capacity to meet maximum performance
Maintains a high degree of customer service for all support queries
Adheres to all IT service management principles both from CS-PAC Global BPO Inc and its business partners
Takes ownership of user problems, performing technical diagnosis and fix the issue either remotely or on-site
Logs all calls and maintain full documentation
Responds to inquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems
Maintains a log of any software or hardware problems
Manages the Asset tagging / Asset management of the IT infrastructure and other equipment & furniture in the Company
Supports user(s) by providing necessary training and advice
Arranges external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in-house
Produces statistics each month
Maintains user security on all systems as per company policy
Creates and execute database backup and recovery policies
Performs regular maintenance to ensure the integrity and performance of all databases
Repairs and recovers from hardware or software failures.
Upgrades and configures system software that supports CS-PAC Global BPO Inc infrastructure applications
Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
Configures CPU, memory and disk partitions as required
Manages security access to all database instances
implements and configure third-party monitoring tools to proactively alert staff of problems or outages
Proactively seeks continuous improvement within and across CS-PAC
Manages multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
Position will require participation in a wide range of design activities. Design activities will be focused on translating CS-PAC Global requirements into specific system, application or process design
Performs daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
Researches and evaluates new technology utilizing current CSPAC IT Architecture process
Confers with end-users about database security issues
Develops and maintain installation and configuration procedures
Supports CS-PAC Global BPO Management team in all IT-related projects and processes
Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualification Functional Competencies

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in performing System Administration functions
Has working technical knowledge of all phases of application systems and related hardware
Familiarity with CCNA or Certificate Holder of CCNA with one year experience in building and maintaining network infrastructure
Preferably 1-2 years Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent
Has working understanding of server applications, with specialized technical knowledge in server deployments and implementation
Has experience in handling firewalls
Have handled network projects involving servers, managed switches, gigabit routers and related software
Knowledge in a collection of hardware components and computers and their interconnections with communication channels that allow sharing of resources and information
Has experience in capacity planning and management of all database systems
Has worked in a customer service support environment can work under a fair amount of pressure
