The IT Audit Specialist shall be responsible for the proper execution of the audit plans through the applications of IT standard auditing practices and techniques. Independently carry out audit engagements in accordance with the Internal Audit annual plan and known IT standards. Support the development of risk-based annual IT audit plan based on comprehensive planning and risk assessments. Reviews the companys IT Assets with a focus on governance, security, and business objectives alignment. Evaluate existing internal control systems and identify areas of improvement with a focus on Information Technology, systems, and controls. Prepares audit reports supported by evidence-based working papers to ensure adequate documentation. Performs substantive tests, such as analytical procedures and tests of details of transactions, reconstruction to detect and correct existing errors, and recommendation to improve significant control deficiencies, based on approved audit programs. Performs additional audit procedures as required by the Immediate Supervisor or Head of Internal Audit, as applicable. Other additional tasks that may be assigned as needed. COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED: Good understanding of business and IT processes, general IT controls, with ability to recommend opportunities for controls improvement. Must have general knowledge in the use of various system/tools and applications to perform audit activities, research work, data gathering and reporting. Excellent communication skills both in oral and written English. Detail-oriented and results-driven with a commitment to quality. Logical thinking, good attitude, fast learner and good team player. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, Internal Auditing, Information Systems & Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or any IT-related courses. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in Internal Audit / IT Audit and/or Risk Assessment. Fresh graduates of Internal Auditing courses are also welcome to apply. Licensed/professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or any IT related certifications is an advantage.
