Role Summary:
The Analyst is responsible for the identification, analysis, and evaluation of investments managed by the firm. He/she will be actively involved in the analysis of the different aspects of the sectors and companies he/she is assigned to and must keep up to date with detailed key market and company information for the preparation of reports/analysis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in analyzing investments/credits through independent research
Perform valuation analysis and generate financial models
Perform credit analysis on companies for the establishment and/or management of counterparty lines
Help generate investment ideas, translate fundamental and quantitative analyses into applicable investment strategies to contribute to investment performance
Gather and maintain data from internal and external sources
Prepare periodic reports/analyses on the credits and sectors assigned
Assist in the origination and execution of transactions
Assist in sales and marketing initiatives with reports and presentation requirements
Provide support in giving presentations to clients and marketing channels as needed
Assist in the management and servicing of existing investments
Comply with regulatory requirements, company, and group policies; maintain compliance awareness
Relevant educational qualifications, preferably a university degree in economics, finance, business, accounting or similar courses
With 3 years or more investment experience
Previous exposure to the market/s assigned is desired
MBA/CFA is a plus
Good understanding of investment theories and underlying financial instruments as well as regulatory and business issues surrounding portfolio management
Strong background in accounting, finance, and economics
Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent sales, marketing, and presentation skills
Candidates should have SEC certification
Entry Level / Junior, Apprentice Accounting and Finance Asset Management 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
