The Role
As an Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for providing research and analytical support/partnership to the Fund Managers and Chief Investments Officer (CIO) in their goal to attain targeted returns and top 50% ranking for all portfolios.
How you'll contribute
Undertakes the production of Research output on the Division's Investment universe using Quantitative and Qualitative Methods to co-develop strategies and identify opportunities and risk issues that will support a calculated investment view.
Conducts periodic or on-demand financial and market updates and reports of Securities and Sectors using financial and credit analysis to enable a better understanding of the Issuer and new fundamental developments.
Maintains financial, economic, and market domestic and select global data by gathering, collating, summarizing, and continuously monitoring for ready reference when needed and to keep risk constantly in check.
Assists Institutional and retail Units with their sales and marketing efforts by making presentations to internal and external clients to help relay our views and strategies and develop confidence in us.
Prepares the Issuer/Counterparty/Broker reviews and revalidation to ensure the investment universe contains sound and good quality names and that counterparties are determined to be solid and financially viable.
Operates as a Back-up Fund Manager by looking after select portfolios to establish a backup Funds management mechanism for the Division.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mathematics/Statistics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
At least 4 years of relevant experience
Must have knowledge of Financial Analysis
Should have good analytical, financial, and communication skills

Able to make sound judgment and investment recommendations
