The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for assigning, delegating and supervising work while ensuring inventory integrity.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources
To review process flows and identify root causes of issues and generate preventive and corrective action plans
Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures in an effort to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels
Responsible for day-to-day functional supervision of team members, including work assignment and attendance monitoring; providing input into selecting, training, developing, and completing performance appraisal of work group
Provides accurate, current inventory data for purchasing decisions
Ensures that the KPI targets are met especially Inventory Accuracy and Team Productivity
Maintains inventories at optimum levels to prevent under-or-over investment in inventory
Supervises and coordinates the taking of periodic physical inventories
Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation
Prepares reports of inventory balance, shortages, as required
Supervises and coordinates disbursement and delivery of supplies and equipment
Maintains 5S in the warehouse especially in the storage locations
Requirements:
Background in Inventory Management
2-3 years Supervisory experience in a related field with a proven track record of success
Proficient in MS Excel
Strong in quantitative analytics and detail-oriented
Excellent verbal, technical writing and solid presentation skills in English
Amenable to work onsite in Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX) area
