We're looking for an experienced Amazon Virtual Assistant (VA) with a strong background in inventory management, product sourcing, and forecasting. This role is key to ensuring our stock levels are consistently optimized, aligned with sales activity, and prepared for growth across multiple platforms. You'll be responsible for monitoring inventory, anticipating shifts in demand, managing reorders, and tracking product expiration dates to maximize sales and minimize waste.Experience in the supplement industry or with gated products is a plus, but not required. What matters most is hands-on experience in managing and forecasting inventory, sourcing products, and using tools like Helium10 or similar platforms to support data-driven decisions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Sourcing: Source and restock products to meet demand, ensuring supply aligns with forecasting models.
Inventory Analytics & Forecasting: Monitor and manage inventory levels with strong analytical skills. Use Helium10 or similar tools to forecast demand, track sales trends, factor in seasonality, and adjust based on marketing campaigns.
Spreadsheet & Reporting Mastery: Build and maintain accurate spreadsheets to track inventory, identify discrepancies, and generate reports that highlight potential risks and opportunities.
Expiration Management: Track product expiration dates and coordinate with marketing to prioritize sales of items nearing expiration.
Sales Channel Impact: Anticipate and manage how new channels (TikTok Shop, Facebook Ads) shift demand. Update forecasting and reordering accordingly.
Proactive Reordering: Ensure timely reordering by setting reorder points and monitoring supplier lead times to prevent stockouts and overstock.
Inventory Reporting: Deliver clear and timely reports on inventory status, forecasted needs, and potential issues.
Helium10 Platform Management: Leverage Helium10 for inventory planning. Experience is a plus; if not, ability to learn quickly is required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, ads, and operations to align inventory planning with business strategies.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in inventory management and product sourcing, particularly for Amazon FBA Private label.
Proficiency in inventory forecasting tools, with specific experience using Helium10.
A solid understanding of sales trends, seasonality, and how to integrate those into inventory strategies.
Experience with supplements or gated products is a plus but not required.
Strong organizational and communication skills to manage cross-functional coordination.
Ability to work in the Pacific (PST) time zone as we are based in Vancouver, Canada
Self-motivated and able to take proactive measures to manage inventory levels efficiently.
