We're currently looking for an International Accounting Senior Analyst
The International Accounting Senior Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and preparation of the financial consolidation of the Parent and its wholly-owned subsidiaries on a monthly and quarterly basis. The analyst will also assist with the completion of local statutory audits, as well as the issuance of local statutory audit reports and local statutory income, VAT, and other required tax returns. The analyst will also serve as the main point of contact for financial matters related to entities located outside of the United States. The analyst may also assist with maintaining and balancing certain general ledger accounts for our subsidiaries, and work with other members of the Accounting Department on other special projects. The analyst will report directly to the Director of Accounting.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation and distribution of monthly and quarterly financial consolidation reports, including consolidating and consolidated Trial Balance, Balance Sheets, and Statements of Operations. This includes preparing and posting all eliminating and consolidating entries.
Responsible for oversight of all intercompany transactions, including compliance with Intercompany Transfer Pricing agreements, as well as the completeness and accuracy of the Intercompany Accounts.
Responsible for oversight of all foreign currency matters, including foreign currency translation, ensuring the Company's accounting system affords the appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP.
Responsible for maintaining and closing the general ledger for select foreign subsidiaries, where local finance functions do not exist.
Coordination with third-party service providers to fulfill local statutory reporting requirements, including local tax filings.
Responsible for serving as a point of contact to certain foreign subsidiaries for all financial matters, to identify and help resolve operational, financial, and strategic issues that impact the Company.
Collaborate with business and FP&A to understand budget implications and implement planning strategies for accounting issues.
Be assigned other special projects as required
Essentials:
Knowledgeable in US GAAP and SOX
Knowledgeable in consolidations and FASB ASC 830.
Amenable to work on a night shift schedule (e.g. 11pm-8am MNL, Monday to Friday)
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with minimum of five (5) years' experience in Accounting
Good relationship development skills.
Strong analytical skills with excellent communication skills
Ability to work with GL, AP, and AR Teams
Ability to handle multi-tasking and can meet deadlines in a timely manner with accuracy
Results orientation with an ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization, and "roll-up the sleeves" in order to accomplish all vital tasks.
Nice-To-Have:
CPA license
Experience with Oracle NetSuite, Blackline, and any other ERP System
Strong MS Office skills (preferably Excel and Powerpoint) and Google Sheet
