1. Develop an understanding of the area under audit
2. Conduct risk assessment and internal control evaluations to identify areas requiring intervention to prevent and detect fraud, errors, and inefficiencies.
3. Formulate recommendations for business process optimization and improvement
4. Prepares and provides comprehensive audit reports, incident reports, memos, and recommendations by analyzing control and documenting audit findings.
5. Audit of monthly inventory reports (ending balances, issuances, replenishments, nonmoving items, slow-moving items, defective items, and scraps), monthly purchases, and open purchase orders
6. Perform operational audits
7. Collect, analyze and document information to support audit results
8. Prepare and present field audit activity
9. Does physical counting of items to verify the existence of assets
10. Identifies, Investigate and reconciles inventory variances
11. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Proven working experience as Internal Auditor
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Sound independent judgement
BS degree in Accounting or Finance
