INTERNAL AUDIT PLAN
a. Assists Internal Audit Supervisor or participates in identifying key risk areas.
b. Prepares summary of previous audit engagements which will be used as basis of new Internal Audit Semi-annual Plan.
c. Participates competently during formulation of semi-annual Internal Audit Plan. Submit deliverables per set timeline
AUDIT ENGAGEMENT AND SPECIAL PROJECT
1. Planning the audit
a. Participates in collaboration meeting.
b. Prepares audit planning related reports such as Internal Audit Planning Memorandum and Internal Audit Program Guide and submit it to Internal Audit Supervisor for review.
c. Secures necessary policies and procedure manuals as well as Internal Audit permanent files.
d. Proposes scope of audit engagement.
e. Prepares request or schedule for budget, if necessary. Perform tasks and/or submit deliverables per set Internal Audit Semi-Annual Plan
2. Opening Discussion (Continuation on the next page)
a. Prepares entrance letter.
b. Prepares Attendance Sheets and other related tasks (e.g. reservation of venue).
c. Prepares the module for opening meeting.
3. Opening Discussion (Continuation)
d. Notifies auditees about the schedule of opening meeting \
e. Facilitates opening meeting to discuss the audit scope, objectives, requested documents and records and expectation from auditees. Perform tasks and/or submit deliverables per set Internal Audit Semi-Annual Plan
4. Audit Fieldwork
a. Performs different types of audit test such as process mapping, analytical review, reconciliation, recalculation, etc.
b. Performs tickmarking and AWP filing. Perform tasks and/or submit deliverables per set Internal Audit Semi-Annual Plan
5. Closing Discussion
a. Prepares module for closing meeting.
b. Prepares final audit observation worksheets.
c. Conducts closing meeting to discuss the results of audit engagement and audit recommendation.
d. Takes note of the set corrective action plan of auditees to address every audit finding raised. Perform tasks and/or submit deliverables per set Internal Audit Semi-Annual Plan Perform tasks and/or submit deliverables per set Internal Audit Semi-Annual Plan
4. Communicating Results
a. Prepares Audit Memo & Issue Clearing Sheets.
b. Prepares transmittal letter.
c. Makes follow-ups for the management responses per finding raised. Perform tasks and/or submit deliverables per set Internal Audit Semi-Annual Plan
5. Audit Report Writing a. Composes preliminary draft of Detailed Audit Report. Perform tasks and/or submit deliverables per set Internal Audit Semi-Annual Plan
6. Monitoring or follow-up of status
a. Performs follow-up audit to monitor status of set action plan and assesses the efficiency and effectiveness of corrective actions taken.
b. Drafts narrative report disclosing the result of follow-up audit. Perform tasks and/or submit deliverables per set Internal Audit Semi-Annual Plan
7. Post-audit Survey.
a. Issues Post Audit Questionnaire to all auditees and secures their responses.
b. Monitors whether all auditees have provided their feedbacks.
c. Comes up with detailed analysis of result of the post audit survey. Perform tasks and/or submit deliverables per set Internal Audit Semi-Annual Plan
QUALIFICATION
Graduate of BS Accountancy or any business related courses with Accounting and Auditing subjects.
Must have at least 6 months to 1 year meaningful and related experience in performing either accounting or auditing functions.
