Job Description:
Role Summary:
The Internal Audit Manager is a role within IA that will report to the Head (Data Analytics and Technology), Internal Audit Asia. The incumbent will support the implementation of audit data analytics, integrated systems auditing, and digital-related reviews in the Internal Audit function in Asia. The role will also support the execution of complex technology-related audit engagements and assurance projects in Asia.
Main Accountabilities:
Support the Head of Data Analytics and Technology in the implementation of the IA Asia Data Analytics Roadmap.
Timely plan and execute assigned audits/projects consisting of system and digital related reviews ensuring high quality standard in the delivery of audit services.
Support assigned technology/data-related components of business unit teams' audits and projects.
Positively influence BU management teams on their risk and control decisions to ensure that the organization maintains a strong risk culture and control environment.
Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders in the areas if IT, Digital and Data Analytics, being aware of emerging risks and key initiatives in the business to assess impact on Internal Audit's risk and control assessments and audit plan.
Maintain technical and business knowledge and skills by staying current with developments in auditing, the insurance industry, data analytics, and technology.
Act as a subject matter expert in data analytics, digital, and information technology.
Position Requirements:
Combined business and technology experience.
Technically proficient in internal auditing, governance, risk and controls, data analytics, technology and digital and fully conversant with the COSO framework of internal control.
Advanced data literacy and possesses digital dexterity or the ability and desire to exploit existing and emerging technologies for better outcomes. Demonstrates skills in the areas of innovation, adaptability skills, leadership and, stakeholder relationship management, critical and strategic thinking.
Capable of simultaneously handling multiple complex tasks.
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written), persuasive and articulate.
At least 5 years of solid IT auditing and data analytics experience.
Digital work experience and experience in auditing international business operations are an asset.
Technology-related industry certification is an asset.
