Job Overview:
The Spanish Bilingual translator is responsible in helping and assisting clients to communicate more effectively with their foreign clients during meetings, transactions and business matters. They must know how to read and write fluently in both English and Spanish, and are expected to work quickly and produce accurate documentation by the specified deadlines.
Job Description:
-Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language by converting one spoken or written language to another. -Attend conferences and meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion. -Review documents that need to be translated -Translate documents from English into Spanish and Vice versa -Proofread all work to ensure accuracy -Perform quality audit and translations
-Open for Part time/ Full time positions
Qualifications:
-Must have excellent written and verbal Spanish & English communication skills -Must have experience translating content from English to Spanish and vice versa -At least 1 year experience of being a professional translator -Ability to pay good attention to detail to pick up every syllable and word to translate. -Pass a language proficiency test -DELE/SIELE certification or other recognized certifications is an advantage but not required As you will be working from home, please be advised that we will require you to prepare certain Technical requirements for you to meet the quality standard. - A dedicated secluded working space away from the noise and any distractions - Updated personal computer or laptop - Stable internet connection of at least 5Mbps and a backup of a pocket WiFi or Mobile Data
