This position will work closely with our Australian client's team to ensure timely job delivery to clients.
The primary areas of focus include:
Maintaining the integrity of accounting information through recording, verifying, and consolidating transactions.
Preparing entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
Balancing subsidiary accounts, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
Managing the general ledger, preparing trial balances, and reconciling entries.
Summarizing financial status by creating balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
Preparing periodic tax statements, financial statements, and BAS statements.
Liaising with regulatory bodies such as the Australian Taxation Office.
Preparing business income tax returns and statements for audits.
Providing general taxation and accounting advice as needed.
Addressing client queries promptly.
Understanding team workflows and ensuring high-quality client deliverables.
Offering coaching and development support to the accounting team.
Taking a leadership role by fostering professional relationships and providing technical mentoring to the accounting team for their professional development.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy
Must have excellent English communication skills
At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience is required for this position.
CPA license is an advantage but not required.
Experience in Xero software is a must.
Experience in handling and training people will be an advantage.
Meticulous and has a keen attention to detail
Must be organized, goal-driven and results oriented
Should be willing to work on AU shift (7AM to 3 PM MNL)
This position will require you to work on a hybrid set up. Candidates will be required to work onsite for training, and the option to work from home will be determined based on performance.
