Job PurposeThe Insurance Verification Representative is responsible for obtaining and providing accurate and complete data input for insurance verifications in clients host systemsDuties and ResponsibilitiesUtilize payer web portals to obtain patients current insurance information and update the information in the client systemVerify insurance information against patient's insurance cards scanned in client system and ensure the correct and most up to date information is on the patient's accountOnce updates are entered in client system, follow procedure on filing the claimsComment all actions taken in internal and client host systemWork independently from assigned work queuesMeets and maintains daily productivity/quality standards established in departmental policiesAdheres to the policies and procedures established for the client/teamCommunicate effectively with leadershipMaintain a professional attitudeOther duties as assigned by the management teamUse, protect and disclose patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredInsurance Verification process knowledgeExperience with practice management software: GE Centricity, EPIC PB, Cerner, Allscripts preferredKnowledge of individual payor websites, including eviCore, Navinet and NovitasphereAbility to work well individually and in a team environmentStrong organizational and task prioritization skillsProficiency with MS Office. Must have basic Excel skillsetStrong communication skills/oral and writtenStrong organizational skillsWorking Conditions

Work Schedule: Night shift, US hours
